Bringing in this Shabbat with a cute little “Shabbat Shalom” from an American sports commentator which had us giggling all of last week. Star Israeli basketballer Deni Avdija, who was a top draft pick for Washington Wizards in the NBA, scored three consecutive 3-pointers in their game against Miami Heat last week to which the announcer responded “Three in a row for Deni, Shabbat Shalom!!” We will forgive the fact that the match actually took place on a Sunday (😂😂) because it’s nice they are acknowledging Avdija’s Israeli background by embracing some of his native Hebrew tongue! Unfortunately his 20 points weren’t enough for the Wizards to take the win but more than enough for us to be super proud of their Israeli star recruit!!! So friends, we wish you all a Shabbat Shalom!! May it be a meaningful one after a wild week, and may you get the rest you need to slam dunk everything that comes your way in the week to come 🙌🏽💫 ...
