Windows into Jerusalem - NEW!
Celebrating 40 years of the reunification of Jerusalem, the ZFA has produced “Windows into Jerusalem”, a compact and visual arrangement of the prime concepts and features of the city.
We have also put together a "Windows into Jerusalem" educational supplement which includes suggested activities for students.
The Iranian Threat
On 14 Adar, Sunday 4 March 2007, Jews around the world celebrated Purim – celebrating the survival of the Jewish people. It is interesting that Iran is the same geographical location that is at present posing a threat to Israel, the Jewish people and the world, just as it was a threat to the Jews of Persia in the past.
Israel At War - Second Lebanon War
The ZFA distributed this resource at the ZFA Educators Conference in 2006, which saw the end of the Second Lebanon War.
The booklet provides insight into and educational suggestions for dealing with the 2006 conflict between Israel and the Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah. The Guide addresses the main issues surrounding the conflict, provides some basic information relating to these issues, and suggests teaching methodologies and references for further research.
It was accompanied by a CD consisting of a range of articles, documents and multimedia resources for use in the classroom. |
