HERZL EXHIBITION
The Zionist Federation of Australia (ZFA) is proud to present ‘Herzl – Up close and Personal, In Pursuit of the Zionist Vision’, a travelling exhibition celebrating the visionary of the Jewish State on the 100th anniversary of his passing.
Launched in Australia at the ZFA Educator’s Conference, the exhibition is an initiative of the Department for Zionist Activities of the World Zionist Organisation, tracing Theodore Herzl’s journey of realising his vision for the establishment of a Jewish State.
The Exhibition consists of 28 beautifully produced and easily assembled interlocking panels, organized under 5 themes. These panels are accompanied by:
- a one-page Exhibition Outline introducing the exhibition to the casual visitor
- a user-friendly, 10 page Visitor's Guide that goes into more depth regarding the exhibition themes
- a 32-page Exhibition Handbook for those involved in guiding others through the exhibition (also appropriate for individuals or organized groups prepared to engage in more serious learning), and
- a comprehensive Study Guide and Activity Manual (including materials appropriate for five 2-hour sessions) for educators and madrichim who want teach about Herzl, Zionism, and the contemporary Jewish condition based on the exhibition themes
All of these materials have been designed for adults and are adaptable to those aged 16 and up.
The Exhibition itself is free-standing, and can be set up in open areas as small as 25 square meters (approximately 250 sq. ft.) or along a length of 16 meters (approximately 50 ft.)
This dynamic educational tool is now available for use within the local Jewish community. To reserve the exhibition, please contact us.
