Back soon!

Friday, 18th December, 2015

For many of us, our offices will partially or completely close over the next couple of weeks. The ZFA will still be here though; albeit some our staff will be in Israel, or on a beach (weather permitting) drinking (something) camping (somewhere) and generally entertaining kids (or parents.) But, before we (temporarily) go there are some things we need to discuss…

Chanukah – an amazing celebration across Australia, with Habayit in Melbourne, young adults in Sydney, The Australia Arava Partnership in Perth and many more.

Dudu – that is what he goes by, real name is David for those more comfortable with the original. The new Netzer shaliach was welcomed to Sydney last week, we wish him lots of luck!

The challenging – have you heard of journalist Phillip Adams? Well our President Dr Danny Lamm had a few things to say to him this week. Read it here!

Now all our youth movements across the country are going to camp – we hope you have an AMAZING time and look forward to the photos and stories! AUJS is going on Onward Academy then we have Taglit-Birthright Israel – the Chavaya bus is coming home and the AUJS buses are getting ready to leave, Lehitraot!!

So over this short holiday we wish those of you taking time out a great break and a very Happy New Year.

We pray as always for peace in Israel.

We wish you all Shabbat Shalom xo
