Zionist Seminars |
Zionist Seminars have become an integral part of the school year at most Jewish day schools around the country, as well as for many Jewish students in non-Jewish schools.
The ZFA facilitates the process of bringing Zionist Seminars to Australia – informal education camps for students in Years 8 to 11 that are run by talented and vibrant leaders from Israel, that are designed to infuse Australian Jewish high school students with a flavour of and energy for Israel. Seven teams comprising over 40 leaders visit Australia annually. They develop meaningful social interactions with the Australian students, and share their experiences of life in Israel. The new bonds and friendships enrich the students with a lasting and positive impact. Catering to a vast range of religious and political affiliations, the leaders from Israel come from all around the country and from a variety of different backgrounds. They are all selected through a stringent process of the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) and are then trained specifically for these seminars. |
