Lying in wait
The moment I heard about the devastating earthquake in Nepal, I knew that one of the first countries to put its hand up to offer assistance would be Israel. The IDF and other Israeli rescue teams are well renowned for their expertise in the area of crises. In 30 years, the IDF has sent 24 missions to 22 countries around the world, including countries that would not exactly call Israel a friend.
