The Melbourne Diller Teen Fellows program is an international leadership course for Jewish Teens currently in Year 9 and 10. It operates in 32 communities across Australia, Israel, USA, Canada, South Africa, Argentina and England.
The goal of the fellowship program is to develop future generations of active, effective leaders with a strong Jewish identity, commitment to the Jewish people, respect for diversity, love of Israel, and a responsibility to the betterment of the world.
Over the course of 12 months, our fellows, along with their counterpart Diller Teen Fellows in the Golan, explore the four pillars of our program; Leadership, Jewish Identity, Tikkun Olam, Community Service, Israel.
If you are currently in Year 9 or 10, can demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, have dedication to community service, an interest in Jewish learning and would like to strengthen ties with Israel then we invite you to apply or nominate an exceptional teen for this opportunity.
The program includes: fortnightly workshops, shabbatonim, Jewish Community Mifgash (JCM) – a two week visit from our partnership group in the Golan to the experience life in the Melbourne Jewish community. International Summer Seminar (ISS)- a three week seminar in Israel, together with the 640 other fellows from around the world. Create a community impact project to improve life in the Melbourne community.
Applications for cohort 3 are NOW open. Closes September 13th 2017
