180 delegates, including large contingents of young adults from the Australian Zionist Youth Council and AUJS, gathered in Melbourne on Sunday 30 March for the ZFA’s Biennial Conference. With keynote addresses from the Hon Bill Shorten MP, Leader of the Opposition, Yariv Levin MK and of course our very special guest, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency for Israel Natan Sharansky, the audience was treated to an engaging and informative program.

The month of March has arrived and with it heralds many upcoming events we can look forward to. Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency will be our guest speaker at the upcoming Biennial on the 30th March in Melbourne. It promises to be a very interesting and informative day. At the conference, Philip Chester will be stepping down after 8 years of exceptional leadership as President of the ZFA and Danny Lamm will take up the position
Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Executive of the Jewish Agency will be a guest of the ZFA in Sydney and Melbourne together with the ZCNSW, ZCV and UIA. Events will be held over a number of days.
After a long flight Shnat participants arrived in Israel for the 6 day AZYC Opening Seminar. This is a unique opportunity for all the youth movements to join together as they prepare for the year long journey ahead.
ZFA passes resolution on religious pluralism in Israel. On October 8, after much discussion, the Zionist Federation of Australia passed the following resolution at its Executive Meeting, at which affiliates across Australia were present.
