Arava Australia Partnership

Building people-to-people connections between the Central Arava and the Jewish community of Australia

HABO AT AS MUCH AS NEEDED! 🎁♻️🎨
More photos from the Aussie shnatties visit yesterday to the Aravas groundbreaking creative recycling centre.
Two pillars of our Partnership are hosting delegations and supporting regional projects. Hosting the delegation from Habonim Dror and introducing them to our community this week has been a joy, and they will donate the crafts made to English classes at the local primary school.
כמה שצריך - as much as needed itself is a project supported by the Partnership; the very concept evolved from ideas shared over the years through our educator exchange between the Arava and Australia.
How wonderful to see multiple projects come together to spread creativity and love among the global Jewish family!

HABO IN THE ARAVA ☀️🌴💪
Shnatties from Habonim Dror Australia are in the Arava this week to learn, make new Israeli friends, volunteer and generally tighten the longstanding bond between the Arava and Australia 🤝
Highlights so far include an intro to desert farming, small-group conversations with students at the local agricultural boarding school (אדם ואדמה), making crafts from recycled materials at כמה שצריך - as much as needed to share with local schoolchildren, and a classic Israeli poike campfire meal with local teens from Moshav Idan.
Watch this space for more updates!
