Statement from ZFA President Dr. Danny Lamm, on the Paris Middle East Conference:
While there was a great deal of hype surrounding the Paris Middle East Conference in the build up, it is disingenuous of the convenors to host a conference without a single Israeli in attendance. While the rest of the Middle East continues to burn and conflict rages around the world, 70 countries came together to basically endorse a two-state solution and call for an end to violence and ongoing settlement activity. The major players should know that the only way to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is a return to the negotiating table. This is what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government have been advocating for years, and something that the Palestinians, led by PA Chairman Abbas (who has just entered his 12th year of a 4 year term) have continuously avoided.
