Citizens in Israel’s north have been warned to open their bomb shelters as Iran and Syria threaten devastating military action against Israel. Israel has responded with pre-emptive strategic strikes on Syrian military bases and is preparing to defend its citizens as and when the need arises.
Dr Danny Lamm AM President of the ZFA said, “Repeated statements from Iranian FM Javad Zarif calling for Israel’s annihilation should never be taken lightly, and Iranian military activity in Syria shows no signs of slowing down. At the end of the day, Israel has to deal with what is happening on its north-eastern border, and will do everything it needs to do to protect its citizens.”
