The Zionist Federation of Australia mourns the passing of United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Sheikh Khalifa’s legacy will be remembered across the UAE and the entire Middle East for decades to come.
The ZFA also welcomes the news that Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has become the new Emirati president. Sheikh Muhammed is the driving force on the Emirati side of the recent Emirates–Israel normalisation agreement.
The ZFA offers its sincerest condolences to Sheikh Khalifa’s family, and to the people of the UAE, and wishes Sheikh Muhammad every success.
