The Zionist Federation of Australia welcomes the creation of the Parliamentary Friends of IHRA.
The creation of this group is a reflection of the importance both sides of politics places on the fight against rising antisemitism. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with the group as we continue to advocate the adoption of the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism by businesses and institutions across Australia.
The Parliamentary Friends of IHRA’s three co-chairs, Josh Burns, Julian Leeser and Allegra Spender, have proven themselves strong friends of the Australian Jewish community, and we thank them for their willingness to chair this friendship group.
