The Zionist Federation of Australia sends its deepest condolences to the entire Besen family on the passing of Marc Besen.
ZFA President Jeremy Leibler said, “Marc Besen was a good man, and the embodiment of Australia’s multicultural success story. Australia provided him an opportunity to build a new life after fleeing the horrors of the Holocaust, and he felt it was his responsibility to give back – which he did, many times over. His generosity and philanthropy made an incredible contribution to all areas of society in Australia.”
“We are sure that his family will find comfort knowing his impact will last and be remembered for many years to come.”
