The Zionist Federation of Australia’s leadership hailed retiring Victorian Premier Dan Andrews as a true friend of the community.
ZFA President Jeremy Leibler said, “Mr Andrews is a genuine friend of the Victorian Jewish community and the State of Israel. From his public statements and his policy decisions on antisemitism, on Holocaust denial, on relations with Israel, and more, he always acted from a position of principle.”
ZFA CEO Ginette Searle added, “We thank Mr Andrews for his firm friendship and his genuine interest in the community. We look forward to continuing that friendship, and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his life.”
